Happy 31st, my Bubzu.
Every time I see you, think of you, or feel you near me, the same thought arrives before anything else: there you are. My human.
You are so much goodness gathered into one person that sometimes I still do not know what to do with the luck of loving you. Your smile still catches me. Your heart still amazes me. After all these years, I still look at you and think, how are you real?
Your softness has never been naivety. You choose empathy because you are principled enough to keep choosing good. You care on purpose. You stay tender without giving your strength away. That is one of the bravest things I know.
You made me trust life again. You made love feel like a place I could live in.
Your optimism is not fragile. It walks into chaos, looks it in the eye, and still finds the light. Your courage steadies me. Your joy waters me. A spoonful of your faith has carried me farther than you know.
I hope 31 brings you the size of life your heart deserves. More colour. More laughter that hurts your stomach. More flowers for no reason. More places that make you stop and stare. More of your own dreams becoming ordinary Tuesdays.
Keep being exactly this alive. Keep changing rooms, people, and me simply by being in them. Keep blessing this world with your good life energy. I will keep blooming in it.
I love you as far as my arms can reach, and then much farther. My whole universe is still you.
Happy birthday, Suhita.
Happy 31st, my Bubzu.
Yours, always.
